I earn 35000 pa and my wife does not work or receive any benefits whatsoever..

Should i take all of her tax credits?

You should opt for joint assessment and transfer all available credits and rate band to you as the assessable spouse. See link below on how to notify Revenue.
If you got married this year, then the transfer will only take effect from next January. If you got married last year then the changes will take place this year.

You may also be entitled to the home carers credit.
