bulgaria to romania

    whats the trains like over there iam going from burgas in bulgaria to draculas castle in romania its 500 kilometres brasov or should i hire a car.

    In Romania there are four speeds of trains and the lower slower pull in to let the fast ones past by. There is no problem travelling by train in central Europe. There are huge number of lines in Romania.
    For cost don't buy all the train tickets in Bulgaria as your tickets may be considered International tickets and have an extra surcharge.
    If you can avail of the many different Discount offers e.g.Eurail, Student ID, National Rail Pass,Travel at set times or within a short period.

    By hiring a car you will to the out of the way places and will be able to see an awful lot per day. The Carpathians and smaller ranges within it like Fageras will take up alot of driving.

    For the specifics of Transylvania, there is more then one Dracula Castle, Brann is the most visited,there is another castle in the town nearby, there is an isolated castle in the Fageras mountains. The town of Sigisoara has a townhouse of Vlad Dracul.
    The towns of Sighisoara, Sibiu, Cluj aswell as Brasov are all worth a visit.
