    Are there any sportifs on around august or september in Kerry/Limerick region? Want to drag my brother in law along to do one.

    The Chaingang Blasket Blast is scheduled for Sept 15th. A great cycle with a stop in Dingle for food, well worth doing.

    Ok, firstly its not in limerick or Kerry, but let's face it that's not necessarily a bad thing.... I would recommend the Sean Kelly. If he is a novice, which I'm guessing he is, he would love it. There is a festival atmosphere all day long. Dungarvan is a great place and truly embraces the event. Kelly, as always, is so good at giving his time you tend to forget what a legend he is.
    It's a great event one of the best in Ireland and worth the cross country spin. That said its under 2 hours drive from limerick, door to saddle.
    Just a suggestion.
