    Hi Eircom Folks,

What's going on here? IP traffic to the UK is failing at your Bridgend hop or ending up in a routing loop at your Telehouse East hop:

    e:> tracert www.tollon.net

    Tracing route to www.tollon.net [217.69.40.188]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

Traffic to most Irish based end points are fine such as boards.ie which why I can post this but can't access any UK sites.

This is about the third time in nearly as many weeks this has happened. Not only that there seems to be an increase in the number of severe exchange level faults (Milford, Donegal), e.g. trying to make calls and being told that there is only local number service.

    Hi Ant,

Don't worry about it. It seems that the LINX had some problems that day which affected a lot of UK traffic.
