Gas boiler replacement cost

    Missus has just been told by the engineer servicing the boiler that we need to get it replaced due to valves that have been leaking and rusting it. No Carbon Monoxide leaks but the rust is pretty extensive.
    Have been quoted €2200 :eek:
    is this typical or way over?
    Wall mounted boiler in the kitchen

    It's an average price I would say.

    Get a few written quotes and compare. See what they are doing/fitting for the price.

    Can the valves not be replaced? What make and model of boiler is it?
