    Hey,

I know the special rate of income has not been announced for 2012/2013, but I am aware that last year it was something like €20,000 in total and the income had to include some kind of a social welfare payment.

Has anyone been in a situation where their income is below this special rate threshold for the year being assessed, but you have been working and have not been claiming any kind of a benefit.

In this case would you be eligible for your post grad fees to be paid or still just the €2000.

    Thanks :)

To be honest no-one can really answer any questions on this until June 11th when they release the scheme rules

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
