    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to apply for a Work Permit for Canada but don't have any employer contacts. Does anyone know how I would go about this? Would you contact a recruitment company? I'm in hospitality industry and my boyfriend is in the trade industry!

Or should we just wait for the next round of IEC visas?

    Thanks

How did you get on? Did you move to Canada? I'm really hoping to move there and would really appreciate some info.

I grew up in Toronto, and whenever I was looking for a job I had the most success with Craigslist, believe it or not.

It seems to be way, way more popular there than most other places I've either applied to jobs or perused jobs anyway. (note: I'm in the software business, your mileage may vary with other industries)

I'm from Ireland and I'm thinking of a move to Calgary. I have a BSc (Honours) in Psychology and an MSc in Business. I have been working in an estate agents and livestock business full time for the last three years but I can't go any further in my current role. I'm looking for a new challenge and I think Canada could be the place.

I'll look up Craiglist , thanks, and see is there anything suited to me.
