I ordered a few things from Rose.Have done it before and had no probs. This time they charged me for a Vermarc jersey I didn't get and they overcharged me €10.00.As a result I have been overcharged by €35.20.I paid via Paypal.
They have agreed to refund the money but say they cannot do it.Here is what they said in the mail.

"After contacting our accounting again, why your refund has not arrived at your PayPal account. They have informed me, that in the time when they tried to refund the amount, PayPal had a change in the booking system and the refund was not successful. Now the time has passed to do the refund back on PayPal. Please send me your Bank Data, with Swift, BIC and IBAN code, to refund the amount as soon as possible"

This to me is crap.I thought all one needed to send money via Paypal was an e-mail address.
I never had a problem like this when getting a refund via paypal before.
Anyone else had same experience with Rose.

A refund is different than sending money to your paypal account as with the second option you have to repay fees. I am not sure what's causing the issue, but what's the big deal of giving them your bank details? It's not like they are refusing to refund you.

    Because I shouldn't have to

You can only issue refunds through paypal for 60 days after the purchase was made, and only if the purchase type was goods/services (which I assume it was).

The order was placed 3 weeks ago.

Then they should be able to do it through paypal, though if it were me I'd just give the bank details as it saves you having to wait to withdraw the money from your paypal account into your bank account anyway.
