Skobbler offline

Just a quick one, downloaded the offline maps for Europe off Skobbler for our trip to the Euros, we do have a sat nav just using this as a back up, how does it actually work? I dont want to end up with a huge roaming bill for the iphone. Does this work off GPS or is it just a static map that doesnt track you? More of a…

Just a quick one, downloaded the offline maps for Europe off Skobbler for our trip to the Euros, we do have a sat nav just using this as a back up, how does it actually work?
