Yeh basically I havent studied industrial revolution at all or changes for women. Just wondering is there an overwhelming chance that either of these could come up in either Q5 or Q6???? Praying that they won't. I know everything else perfectly though

We never really studied social change but i think switch every year ( not sure about that one) but if it came up last year it has a very rare chance of it coming up and same up industrial revolution. For question five most likely either age of explorations or reformation ( just a preditction .. wouldn't count on it!). Just look for the pattern in the papers for social change and sure you'll be grandd lawdd :D

For Question 5 I think will be either The Reformation or Revolutionary Movements.

For The Reformation, know what caused it (pluralism, simony, nepotism etc.) a religious reformer (Martin Luther) and his main religious beliefs, and one group of the counter reformation (either The Jesuits, The Inquistition or Council Of Trent).

For Revolutionary Movements, know one revolution really well (I think the American Revolution has the most information to get high marks.) Know what caused it (Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, British Rule etc.) the main leader (George Washington) the main events of the war (ie. the places where the battles took place) and the results of it. For Part C of Quesion 5, they will either ask you Results or Causes of one studied revolution. know the other two resolutions reasonably well as they came up in 4 mark questions in Part A and B.

But don't take this as a given. I just think it is likely.
For Question 6, you have to answer two parts. (A) is completely random. Last year was the Renaissance, so there's a big chance it won't came up again. My bets is on either Early Christian Ireland, the Stone/Bronze/Iron age or Ancient Rome. For Part (B) it's social change so study it well. Students usually opt for it but it is not always the easiest option as they often misinterpret the questions. (C) is Irish history, again worth studying for as it is going come up. Know the main events, the Rising, Civil War, Ireland in World War ll etc.

I would still study the Industrial Revolution, but a lot of it is self explanatory. Farms to Factory's is the main point. It might come up in the People In History so study either a man working in a coalmine or a woman in a factory. Also, give your People In History's a name, if applicable. I know you won't get any marks but give a bit of background (2 or 3 lines.) because it adds a nice base for your information. With just points it is like an account.
