The likes of JPM, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley etc. We've attracted some of the worlds biggest companies to set up EU headquarters in Dublin, so how come the big banks aren't interested?

JP Morgan, CITI, Goldman Sachs, BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ABN Amro, all have offices in Dublin.

Primarily they all do back/middle office functions. Trading hubs are historically NY, London, Kong Kong and new one's are very difficult to establish in terms of attracting staff.

Access to liquidity, everyone is in London/New York so that's where you must be if you want access to liquidity/connections.
