Anyone ever sprained their ankle playing GAA football. What was the recovery time like? Is there a way of telling how severe the injury is?I'd say this is a very common injury in the sport, is there any way of reducing recovery time

First of all, if you can afford it, go to a physio.

Secondly, RICE it. Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate. If you even put that term into google it'll give you plenty of quick advice.

Recovery time - could be a couple of weeks, but you might have damaged a ligament there and be sore for longer. Get professional advice.

OP, this is not the place to look for medical advice - go and see your doctor, or see a physio and get it checked out properly - if there is damage done, you could be doing worse by not getting it checked by a professional
