Using a Science degree for self employment

    Hi guys.
Would really like some ideas about what exactly I can do as business using a degree in marine science?
Bit of an odd one I know, but its my ultimate aim to work for myself.
Before I went to do a degree I tried a few different things but they always ended up being mickey mouse affairs because I could never get enough capital to start something proper. Right now everything I can think of doing is very much the same as in it would require an unattainable amount of money just to get started.
So its a bit of a long shot but I'm hoping someone can give me a decent idea that won't cost the earth to get started.
    Thanks

Just a wild suggestion but.... I got some really whacky recruitment mails recently looking for "remote vehicle operators". These are guys that remotely pilot drones used for example in deep-sea oil prospecting etc. They were looking for for people with marine related backgrounds, and hiring them as independent contractors incl training etc. Was in the caspian sea! Serious money -.-

No idea why they sent this mail to me...
