Changing job - thanks to all the Boardsies!

Today after over 3 years, I'm closing my business. It seems call-out SMART bodywork repairs in Ireland just aren't possible with the constant poor weather we have. In every definition of the word, it was successful - I paid my way, my rent, bills, put food in the dog's bowl, but it just wasn't dry enough for me to earn enough to head off on an exotic holiday, or buy another motorbike - that sort of stuff.

I'd like to take the opportunity here to thank all the Boardsies who recommended and hired me - word of mouth is a powerful tool. I'll still do a small bit of spray painting in my downtime, but it'll be a very limited amount of time and entirely weather dependent as usual.

If anyone's considering setting up a call out SMART bodywork repair business - don't. I genuinely mean that. The weather here is just too poor to make a stable living from. I've tried every form of pop up tent, gazebo, roll out caravan awning and unfortunately one gust of light wind makes them all unusable. And even 5 minutes of drizzle on an otherwise dry day makes it impossible to work with too.

So that's 'bout it! I'm still here happy to give out advice on painting/bodywork/electrical stuff anyway, so you're not rid of me yet :)

Thanks lads, going back into the IT trade, was in it long before the Motor Trade and always kept a hand in it, so should be nice to slip back into the role.
