    They should at least ask him to do a couple of laps of the Champs Elysee while swilling champagne in rush hour. If he survives that then maybe he'll feel more like he 'earned' it on the road.

    Delighted for him, i know he has many detractors, but i like him.
    2nd, 1st, 2nd in the last 3 tours, is a top class return, and not many will do that. And the way he rode in 2008, trying to keep the jersey on Franks back was excellent.
    Will he win it this year, doubtful with the 2 ITT, but he will sure as hell go close.
