No better people to ask, stomach in knots - new horse arriving today!!!!

But wont be arriving until late this evening so obviously I am stabling her for the first night to help her get used to the new surroundings..

Looking for some tips on helping her settle in & help me bond with her, she is only a youngster & super quiet but obviously it will take her a while to get used to the place... as its a busy busy yard at the weekends.

    All advice welcome

The best thing to do is leave her completely alone for the first night, don't try to bond with her then as she could be a bit hyper or distracted at a new place, just leave her to get used to the stable. Make sure she has water, hay and a good deep bed.
The next day, just go in and pet her and groom her every so often. She'll settle down herself in time :)
