I'll be passing travelling to Waterford from Dublin on the M9 next week could anyone recommend anywhere for a nice breakfast in Carlow town?
    Thank You.

Toughers truck stop, just past the Dublin rd roundabout. There or the Road House in town.

    +1 for Toughers.

Come off the M9 at the first Carlow exit, follow the Carlow signs into the town.
Toughers will be on your right before you reach the outskirts.

If you're willing to venture into Carlow Town check out cafe formenti on Dublin Street, you'll be fed for the week, doesn't open until after 9 I think

    Rattlebag

They're a bit miserable in there but the food is excellent.

Thanks guys for the further suggestions and even a menu post!
I'm heading down tomorrow morning Friday...(or should that be Fryday?!)
Am gonna try Toughers and perhaps one of the others on the way back home on Sat. Haven't been in Carlow since 1983 and looking forward to it. :)
