Wedding Booklet Changes

Hi Guys,

My OH and I are getting married in 4 weeks and we were just doing up the Wedding booklet to get approved by priest then printed. We are copying the same format as another wedding we were at in September.

We've it all finished now but we've just found out that there is a new layout for weddings and things have changed i.e responses and the penitential rite.

We've been on gettingmarried.ie but every time we try and create the booklet for the parts we're having trouble with it says page cant be displayed...AARRGGHH!

Just wondering if any kind boardsies who have gotten married since the new changes came in would do me the greatest favour of sending me their booklet just so I can look at their layout. I'd hate to send it to the priest and him to think we're fools. We have been trying to do as much research on this but feels like we've hit a wall with this.

PM me and I'll send you one of mine tomorrow. I'm getting married at the end of June and a friend of my mum's did the printing for us. They include all of the new stuff.

Did the format of mass change in general? Is this everywhere?

Small changes, something to do with new translations (Fr Ted, that would be an ecumenical matter comes to mind) but some are a step backwards in my own opinion.

Totally agree. Some of the old sinful stuff has really become all your own fault, and you have to say that a good few times too.
Maybe guilt is the new black;)

There is a booklet from veritas that details it all was very handy when we did ours. Details everything. There is a lot of choice and you can customise it to your self.
