So I have a sky box downstairs and a Lidl/silvercrest receiver in the bedroom. I can receive movies4men channels downstairs, I can't receive them on the receiver upstairs, I am new to all this FTA stuff and TP, frequency etc. I find it hard to navigate the system and would like to get this channel in the Lidl receiver, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have one of the SL45 Lidl receivers.

The procedure to enter a new tp frequency is: menu > installation > tp scan > select tp index & press '1', then enter the tp parameters (in this case 11680 mHz, 27500 ks/s, vertical polarity) & search for free channels.

Hey, thanks for that Peter, but that's men and movies, I am trying to get movies4men, I used the same navigation and tried to input this-MOVIES 4 MEN 111.224V27500 But it only shows up as 11223, not 11224, can't get it to show :(

    11681 V should get you Movies4Men, Movies4Men +1, and Men & Movies +1 - they're all on the same transponder.

I presume he's asking the OP with the intention of offering some advice.

Your post is bit of a put-off. No need for that at all.

ya I am thanks, sounds like the box upstairs ain't gettin enough signal, try turning off box downstairs 1st then checking signal upstairs.

Can you explain why that would solve the OP's problem of seemingly being able to receive some channels on the correct transponder but not the one he wanted?

Also, how would turning off 1 receiver allow 'more signal' for the other (even assuming they are 'daisy chained' which is unlikely)?

I suspect the OP here had the channel all along, it's easy to get mixed up, what with there being about 6 channels all with "movies" & "men" in the title.

True also as channels move transponders, it could have the wrong channel name.
    If so:
1 option is deleate Transponder, and then put it back in & scan.
2 manually deleate all channels apart from correct bbc/itv/c4/5's (can be slow) and scan FTA.
    3 deleate all & rescan.
Note: have noticed in the past channels like M4M would move TP & a few months latter return to same TP.
