    I was brought up with the traditional Ulster Prod view that Catholicism was evil, of the devil and an appauling cult.

    thankfully over the years I've met many Roman Catholics whose faith puts me to shame. I'm now involved in a lot of cross denominational stuff and I can clearly see the error of my earlier indoctrination.

    so....

    from the other side of the fence.....

    does the Catholic church still think that all prods are heretics?

    Martin, there is a Protestant/Catholic Debate thread, can you take it there please? Our experience is that if we don't ring fence it there then sectarian squabbles tend to swamp the board.

    Sad, but there's still a fair few bigots on both side of the border of this beautiful land. :(
