Hi all, id say this is the first time anyone posted this question/problem. I have had 3 provisional licences, i have always intended to get lessons and learn to drive but i have never done it i am basically too chicken. I know people see driving as an extension of walking as one of the most normal natural things in the world. I dont, its not that i am afraid of hitting someone with the car its the opposite, i am afraid of been crashed into. i guess been a passenger for as long as i can remember i see the bad side of driving stupid overtaking, use of mobile phones people not paying attention while driving and it freaks the hell out of me.
The reason i actually want one now is i have a son who will be going to nursery next year hopefully and where we live is so rural i will have no choice but to actually get him there and home and thats just the start as he gets older im sure he will need a mommy taxi.

ok enough waffle -My third provissional is about to run out in a couple of months, and i have no idea how to renew it, or get another provisional without actaully sitting a test and failing it, it there a way to just apply for a licence again?

A couple of months is plenty of time to learn to drive. Just get out and do it

Before get your forth licence you need to apply for a test. But that is months away. You need to book a driving lesson today, NOW. That is the first hurdle.

How exactly did you get a 3rd Learner Permit (Formally Provisional) without applying for a test?
