    Hey, my name's Alex. I'm 16.
I've haven't been playing too long but I practice a lot ( maybe a bit too much).
Currently I've just the basics, a cheap Squier Strat, 10w amp and that's pretty much it, although I'm saving up for a Jackson WRXTGM at the moment.

Anyway; I'm mostly into metal and hard rock, you know, the stuff that's played with more than 4 chords. My favourite bands include the likes of Lamb of God, Mudvayne, Death, Machinehead, Manowar, Opeth, Electric Wizard, Primordial, Rammstein, Soilwork, off the top of my head. It's pretty broad but they all make lots of music I like.

I love playing solos. And since I practice so much they're not really a problem.

I have mostly been working on my technique up to a month or two ago, and the songs I've learnt so far are Iron Man by Black Sabbath ( including the 2 solos), Laid to Rest by Lamb of God, and currently I'm learning Flesh Storm by Slayer.
(I also know Sundown by Fireball Ministry, but I haven't the slightest of what the solo is since it's literally virtually non-existent.

Now, I'm not some sort of Goth type person, I just love music that actually involves instruments, not remixes of cats farting, none of my friends thought I was into metal when they saw me for the first time.

Oh, and one very very important thing, my humour (which is something you need to live with if you want a friendly atmosphere in the band) relies on you not taking things I say seriously, unless I say "...but seriously,".

Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you guys!
