    Hello,

I don't really know much about computers, but I took the risk of formatting the C drive of our family computer as it was really slow. It worked and I reinstalled all the bits and its flying again.

The only thing is the screen seems squashed as some of the resolutions in display settings have just vanished. We have a 20" wide screen monitor so I think the setting used to be 1400x900. This is gone. I have the drivers cd from the computer and tried installing some of these drivers but this did not work.

Can anyone help out? I'd say its fairly simple to sort.

    Thanks
    Ross

You most likely need to install the graphics driver.

Try downloading the latest video card drivers for your video card and operating system online, these are common: etc. are common, just get the driver for your particular video card.
