Library Returns

Cam I return books borrowed from one library to another? Eg the James Joyce library is closed at 5pm today but the health science library only closes at 9.30pm. Have two books to return today.

I did it once before by putting a richview book into the JJL and the next time I was taking out a book a message came up and the assistant advised me I couldn't do that. Although that was 4 years ago so it might be different now
