Has anyone noticed or is there anyone in the know able to confirm that Aer Lingus have changed the shade of green used in advertising and branding?
I first noticed it on a bilboard at Dublin Airport and now they have sent me an email with the same colous!
I dont like the new colous they use! Its still green but not the shade of green on their aircraft and uniforms but a dark green!
I dont know how to embed the email here, but maybe someone else has also noticed this and can explain better.
Are they planning to change their colous? Will aircraft and uniforms be changed?
I hope not i like the current uniform and aircraft paint design!

If they bought everyone a new uniform and repainted their fleet I think those who took wage cuts may have a few questions or choice words for Mr Muller!

I don't think a billboard is a good hint for a colour change. Some of fleet are getting or have been painted in last few months. There colour scheme hasn't changed.

Exactly ! I hope they dont change uniform or aircraft colours. But why are they not using their company colours in their advertising ?

It does! except this is real life ! It seems a stupid decision, the Aer Lingus colours are fine, and are well recognised, i dont know why a company would not include an important part of their image/identity in their advertising.

Which the seat backs even on the 2011 delivered 320s remind us of... did they order significantly too many seat covers back then or something?

Didn't they originally spend a fortune on consultants to come up with the incumbent shade of green back in the day?

Go back to the old livery from the 90's with the white shamrock that was lovely livery

I much prefer the current livery to the white shamrock, also like the 1965-74 white livery too.

There was uproar at the time when EI changed to the 3 greens, white shamrock livery.

I like the current one as it is, perhaps a bit of modernisation could be done. Maybe when A350 deliveries start!?

I agree Tenger I love DVM's retro livery i'd love to see that or the 90's as a fleet would look great but will never happen.

Some of the seats would have been removed from the aircraft which have left the fleet, most likely, apart from whatever they may have still in storage.

The 1974 colours looked really sharp. The A320s would look beautiful in that livery..
A timeless green livery in much the same way as Iraqi Airways of the 70s and 80s. Iraqi are bringing back their old livery to the fleet, and are ditching the new livery.
