Looking at getting into straight razors, seems the feather artist could be a good start.
Or would a starter kit from invisible edge get me up and going.
    Any ideas welcome
    Thanks

The beauty of the Artist Club is you can dive straight in without any special equipment or the need to develop honing/stropping skills. The drawback is it is not as forgiving or as authentic an experience as using a real straight.

I would be more inclined to get the "shave ready" real thing and dedicate some time to perfecting technique and learning about maintaining your razor. Once you are comfortable using a straight razor you are then in a better position to decide whether you want to go down the Feather route.

    Many thanks,
Any suggestions for a starter kit with a straight razor. Would the razor need to be honed to use it?
    Many Thanks

The site you mentioned above or http://whippeddog.com/straightrazors are worth checking out. Once a razor is described as being "Shave Ready" it essentially means it has been honed/sharpened for you. All you will need to do is strop.
