Art of Movie Books

I have only one Art-from-the-movie book and that's from Spirited Away. I do however have a few Studio Ghibli storyboard books: Totoro, Porso, Spirited Away, Ponyo, Arrietty, Kiki and Laputa. They are, obviously, in Japanese which I can't read (apart from a few technical pointers in English) but it's interesting to see the thought and planning behind a movie, especially an animated movie which has to be planned out with far stricter structure than a live action movie (No trying different things just to see what they look like in animation when a single scene can take weeks/months to animate. The only one I've seen fully animated but cut was in Wall-E)

The watercolour drawings are wonderful and suit the nature of the films perfectly. It's my goal to buy an original or two some day for my collection:

The pics aren't from my own books bu are a good idea of what they're like

    The Art Of The Nasty

Some fabulous stuff from an era when renting
the most innocuous of horror films in The UK
    was considered a crime.
