The Master.

I remember years and years ago i entered a competition in the Beano comic to win a Raleigh Vektor.I think it was the first competition i ever entered and naturally assumed i would win.
The bike never arrived
it looked like something out of V. had a little console on the crossbar that could make sirens and space age noises.
There is someone selling one on a site just now and after looking at the pictures i can see thats it just a normal bike with plastic crap cabletied all over it!
Never seen one in real life before but it hasnt aged well at all :pac:
Its one of those things for me that the memories of it are actually better than the things themselves.
Like me recently going into one of these "ye olde sweete shoppes" and getting a big back of cherry lips and floral gums then spitting them out all over the place because they taste lke soap.
I had a raleigh budgie as my first bike which was like the chopper but tiny. brilliant bike and i remember everyone wanted it after i was too big. wish i had kept it now.
