Met radar bug?

I check the rainfall radar once every two days sometimes once a day on the met.ie website and via the Irish Weather iphone app and there always seems to be precipitation over the South Dublin area no matter what the weather is. Today is the same and it has been like that for some time now. I work in the South Dublin area and the sky is clear with no sign of rain etc.

Is this a known issue/bug? Apologies if this has been brought up before.

Its most likely Anaprop ... where the high temperature inversion is causing the radar beam to refract downwards and hitting the Mountains in this case.

It could also be caused by reflection from the Dublin/Wicklow mountains. If you notice there are similar patterns around the Mourne mountains.
