Edit : Obviously I meant "American"

Anyone know where I can buy American style root beer in Dublin area?
I did a quick search but most are quiet old now. :)

DiFontaines on Parliament street sell cans of it as do Fallon and Byrne on Wicklow St.

    Cheers Pappa Dolla.

I've never had it before so wanted to give it a try. ;)

I love root beer. Tastes just like mouthwash. Drink store used to sell Goose Island root beer but they don't seem to have it recently.

I think I saw root beer in tesco, they have a few new fizzy drinks I have never heard of before.

I saw some in Sweeney's out towards Glasnevin cemetery on Saturday. Was just browsing so couldn't tell you the brand or type I'm afraid

Not sure if that location suits!

Most of the places here selling A&W seem to be selling the Canadian made stuff which just doesnt taste as nice if ya ask me. The hanks stuff in Eddie Rockets is lovely. Reminds me of IBC or Iron Horse from the US. Proper old style stuff.
