hey can anybody help me out? Received a Dracaena as a gift from the canaries and it has wax all over but I'm unsure as to which ends which or if it would matter!?!...

    the instruction state:

    1. scrape the lower, paraffined part (50/50 as to what end that is, must get lucky):)

Has a sticker on one end could be top or bottom!

2 Place in 2cm of water
3 change water once a week
4 keep out of direct sunlight

Has anybody had any experience planting Dracaena from the canaries?

If you look at those ridges going round the stem you should be able to see that the little half moon shapes face slightly in one direction, which would be 'up'. It looks from the pic as though the sticker is on the bottom of the stem. You will have to scrape the (parrafin) wax off the bottom.
