ok so heres probably a fairly common question but i could really do with some advice. A few years ago when i was at school i dropped nearly 15kg's when i decided enough was enough and being a fatty was no longer an option. so i decided to cycle the 30 km a day to and from school. combined with a diet change it worked wonders! After i left school i continued to cycle and it wasnt until my racer got stolen from UCD did i stop my good habits.

Now i havent put the weight back on but i guess i just leveled out at 66kg. im 176cm btw with a 32'' waist . Im still not entirely with my weight i could really do with toning up some little flabby parts especially the remnants of what were moobs :)

so when i go on long cycles i usually start off for the first 2 hours or so on an empty stomach apart from a coffee or energy drink. of course im not storing enough carbs so i tend to bonk out and crash in the later stages of the cycle. but i wanna burn my fat reserves instead of energy direct from food if you get. what kinda foods should i be taking? overall i just wanna be a better cyclist and dropping a few kg's will no doubt help climbing those climbs that little bit easier!

what should i be eating? how much should i be exercising? best forms of cycling for burning fat? etc...
