Must sign holiday form tomorrow.. can I collect my money before I leave?

I've been told last week that since I gave too late notice to fill out a holiday form, I have to head in tomorrow to my signing hatch.

I presume they'll cancel my claim and reactivate it when I get back (next week)? If so, would it be possible to collect my money normally on Tuesday morning before I leave (the afternoon), or would it be blocked?

If you normally collect your money on Tuesdays, there's every chance it is actually available at the PO for collection on the day before, Monday and since this weeks payment is for last week, it should be available.

The post office would have the money the day before? Would it be a good idea to ring them up and confirm?

The PO would not take telephone queries about payments. You would need to go there.
