    Hi All,

Going southbound today on M50 just before blanch exit I noticed that there are now cameras where the white lines are on the road - anyone know if these are active???

Never saw them before - Also any other static working cameras on the M50? I thought all were general motor cameras - not speeding cameras.

    Thnaks,

    g

Edit - sorry, I see that you were referring to the cameras themselves. The type of fixed cameras that tend to go along with those lines are generally in front of the lines rather than on a gantry as far as I know.

if they are above i would put money on them being traffic volume cameras.

I taught they were the average speed cams. They give a read out on the billboards,
    5 - 10 minutes junction 9 to junction 10
    etc.
