    hi.i was fishing at my local river .when i saw a dead cow.i would have pulled it out but its been their awile. so im thinking of ring someone anyone know who to ring

    I would try and contact the land owner, owner of the cow first and let them know. It might have been dumped but it might have gotten into difficulty near the bank and died and the owner does not know about it.

    If someone did dump it into the river they would have more then likely have torn it's tags off (this will trace it back to the owner), in that case you'll have to get in touch with your local county council as they will have to dispose of the carcas.

    By the time they do anyting
    1 it will have rotten away.
    2 it will have been washed away in a flood.
