I have a '00 opel astra comfortline 86k miles. On friday last I noticed oil on my driveway, after looking under the car there was a lot of oil dripping off the engine block.

It seems to be dripping from the pressure switch side, though I didn't remove the cover so its hard to tell exactly.

Also do you think I should replace the timing belt (done at 53k) as oil getting on it could cause it to fail?

Assuming its the pressure switch and not anything else, how much could i expect to pay?

Yea them pressure switches do leak from time to time. Guestimate for the part would be no more than €30. Very quick to fit it.

If any amount of oil has actually gotten onto the actual timming belt (not just the cover) definitely consider changing it.
