    Tool Chest & Cabinet

what are peoples views on Halford range of tool cabinets, know they do three ranges, this is the industrial level, there is also this in the professional range. trying to decide whether is worth the extra 100 euro to go to the top level?

Few quid extra would get you something like a Teng chest. A lot better built and more robust in my opinion. I've had one of Halfords top range top boxes and it didn't last too long, bought teng toolboxes and they're still going strong.

Do you know where they sell them?

There's a crowd on Donedeal selling good quality toolchests at the mo, listed under Tools and equipment- prices are vgood. Dont like the Halfords ones, too flimsy.

thought i replyed to this last night, seems i didnt! oh well.

just a quick warning first, have heard of knock off US pro about, so give them a good going over.

back to the price issue, checked out the Teng, and yes they are really nice looking, the top section, 6 drawer is about 275, which is not to bad, but thats only the top portion, the lower section is closer to 400 on its own.
    are they that much better?
also the site i am looking at have Draper Expert and they are comparable prices, as for their expert plus! getting very costly.

back to my wondering, top and bottom industrial units from halfords - 400
top section only Teng - 275
can do with only the top portion quite easily for now. its not my only storage solution. what to do, what to do.

going to try get my hands on the Teng and give it a good rattle in the shop. that might help
