Can anyone tell me roughly how long it would take to drive from Dublin city centre to Dun Laoghaire?

At both peak and off peak times. Would being just north of the river make much difference time wise?

Assuming it's around main street Dun Laoghaire you are going to, 20-25 minutes off peak. Allow a little time if it's the Glastule or Glenageary sides of the area you are looking for or if it's one of the many narrow back streets as they are awkward to find along with their one way systems.

If it's peak time travel, you are probably better off getting the DART as you will need an hour+ and you may need to find parking; it's paid parking in the main around that part of the world.
