    Hi all,

Just wondering how everyone found completing this online. I am finding the whole thing very off putting, all these big instruction manuals on how to complete which still seem quite vague to me. I'm hoping that the new look system will push me to get it together.

Anyone got any pointers on how to complete this?

The online tool is now called My Experience. It has been streamlined and simplified, and trainees will now be able to see at a glance how many months of relevant experience they have to go and how many performance objectives they still have to do. My Experience allows trainees to update both their employment details and experience as they go along. The submission of an annual PER return will no longer be required. For more information please see http://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/qualification-resources/acca-qualification/acca-exams/Practical-experience/recording-experience/myexperience.html

Unfortunately ACCA Ireland does not have an account on boards.ie but their Facebook site is very good for answering queries such as these - http://www.facebook.com/ACCA.Ireland

    Hi there,

I think most of us are the same until push come to shove and it has to be done for getting papers/mentors in work. I found the best approach is to simply choose 2 or 3 questions your going to start with, mull over ur answers for a while and then just start writing.

once ur mentors happy with your answer and sign off on it that's it done it doesn't have to be approved by acca so its a good idea to maybe let them have a read of it before submitting it for their review online prevent them rejecting it and having to resubmit it.

Honestly once you get stuck in it aint as bad as it looks, when you start writing it will flow, but looking at so many to be done can be daunting but you have to have a minimum 3 years experience therefore you can take them a few at a time and just do the most relevant ones first.

    Good luck,
    happyhat.
