UPC Media box stopped working

I have a UPC MediaBox which is made by PACE model is DCK621KU.

Every now and again I plug it out as I find the performance is better afterwards but the last time I plugged it in/out it has stopped working.

It turns on, boots up and has "UPC" on the display but does not repsond to any remote command. The only thing that works is if I hold the physical power button it will reboot after about 10 - 15 secs.

Anyone come across this before? I tried connecting it to different TV's using different connections types and left it unplugged for different periods of time but no change.

Do the channel buttons work? I have a similar issue where the box doesn't respond to the remote but it's to do with the ambient lighting. The symptoms are similar though.

The only button that works is the power button and thats after holding it for about 10 secs, it seems to reset the box and it ends up back in the same state. Time to give UPC a call I think...

Try removing the card. Powering down. Insert card power up.
Btw you'll need to know the pin when reinserting card.
