I would presume so but I don't know 100%, just so you know though, you only get 40 extra points if you get an A1. You get 35 then for an A2, 30 for B1 and so on.

No, they've changed it this year. You get 25 extra points for any grade from a D3 to an A1 in higher Maths this year, for all seven universities in Ireland, and possibly the colleges too. These points are in place for the next three years. :)

To the best of my knowledge UL will not be altering its position and there are still up to 40 points going for higher maths.

    I'll check it out.

Whaaat?! Surely I should know this, I'm doing higher Maths and my top five CAO choices are in UL! I'm almost certain it's changed to 25 for UL, but I might be wrong.

I doubt UL would not include it. They would make the change by the board of Ed obsolete! My guidance teacher would have told me I'd say because my first 4 CAO choices are Ul as well like!

It was certainly discussed within UL, but we really heard no more beyond that. Like I said I'll look into it.

Sadly that has nothing to do with the likelihood of my career guidance telling me, for all I know UL doesn't even exist! :pac:

I'm 99.99% sure we would know about it if UL weren't giving the 25 bonus points for a D3 or higher. All of the reports say it applies to all seven universities.

I posted saying how long would it be before you were along to comment but it must have been deleted/didn't post off my phone.

    You're predictable at this stage.
