It has been a tough decision to sell these, but I don't have the time to use these wheels, so they have to go. They were built in January 2011, with Zipp 404 tubular rims, laced to White Industries hubs. If you are a bike nerd like myself you will know the quality a set of White Industries hubs will add to an amazing set of rims, these hubs are manufactured in California to the highest of standards, absolutely incredible quality. Titanium Shimano freehub body. These wheels have been used once on a 40km spin. No marks on the rims, as new would be the best way to describe them.

The wheels were handbuilt by one of Irelands finest wheelbuilders. Spokes are DT Swiss competition black, DT Swiss prolock nipples, the lacing patterns are- front:18 hole radial, rear:24 hole radial non-drive side and 2 cross drive side.

The current value of a set of Zipp 404 tubulars with Zipp hubs is €2200.
These wheels are custom built, look amazing and ride amazing. Everything attached to these wheels has seen the same usage i.e. 40km. Included in the sale is an essentially brand new Dura-ace 7800, 11-21 cassette, and a set of Continental GP4000 tubs. I am asking for €1400 for what is an incredible set of wheels. Thanks for reading. PM or reply to this post if interested.

    Hi there,

I am based in Dublin. I have attached a few pictures to this reply.

Thanks for the interest. On a side note, the skewers pictured don't come with these wheels, it'll be a set of Zipp skewers.

    I guess it's not a Firecrest rim?

No it's not a firecrest rim. Having tried both, I honestly can't tell the difference between the two.
