    please excuse what is probably a really stupid question but several times whils driving behind cars ive noticed "something"dripping from their exausts and leaving a trail...what is this? thanks..

    When fuel is burned CO2 and water is produced. If a car is cold the water can condense in the exhaust. if it gets a lot of water in it it can drip out of the end.
