Looking for advice

Hey all, I'm looking for some advice.

Currently unemployed for the lst 6 months, and on a CE scheme before that. I am currently looking to break into a particular industry, which I am doing a level 8 degree in (12 months to go). I have all the qualifications/training I need for the roles I am looking for, except the experience.

I am wondering should I post on LinkedIn, or some of the other websites, that I am looking for a particular role? If I do, should I also post that I am willing to undertake a 6/9 month JobBridge with a view to a permantent job?

Any advice would be very welcome.

Rather than post on linkedin (needle in a haystack!) why don't you contact companies you would like to work for and explain you are willing to work for free under the JobBridge scheme?

Thanks for the advice, but I have already done this, to no avail.

There are a couple of groups dedicated to the particular area I am interested in on LinkedIn, so that is why I am thinking of posting there.

Has anybody tried this approach, and, if so, what was the outcome?

    Many thanks
