CBS Action comes from Eurobird not Astra - Eurobird is very slightly further East - it often happens that if your dish isn't perfectly aligned then reception from Eurobird channels is poor, but the main BBC and Sky channels aren't affected as they're on Astra.

Moving your dish a couple of mm to the left (looking at the dish from behind) could sort this out, it did for me. Also try adjusting the LNB skew, a slight tweak anti-clockwise (as you look into the dish) can help.

Cheap satellite meters are only a few euro on Amazon, etc. and make getting the alignment spot-on a lot easier. We'd gotten used to occasional break-ups on certain channels, but after I tweaked the dish alignment (when replacing a faulty LNB, I thought I might as well) we have much better signal quality on channels that were weak before, and no breakups at all.

What I should have mentioned, is that getting good reception on Eurobird doesn't mean you have to lose signal on Astra, a normal sized dish can cover both well, but many 'cheap 'n' quick' Sky installers just align it on Astra and don't care about the signal on Eurobird channels. A few years back, many Setanta Sports subscribers found that their dish alignment wasn't good for Eurobird...

Thanks - I tried moving the dish but no joy, however I adjusted the LNB skew as suggested and got my signal from 28% to 58%.

    Thank you!!

My Star Trek fans are delighted!!
