Just opened up this thread 'cos I am sick of people in my surroundings talking about recession, football,,,and bla bla bla stuff that doesn't matter whatsoever, well to me anyway.

I'd like to talk here about everything, meditation, astral projection, ufos , aliens etc.

Well meditation has been around for thousands of years, ufo sightings are reported nearly every day (of course that some of them are hoaxes, attetion seekes) , and aliens and ufos have been depicted on pictures, paintings, caves, pyramids all over the world dating back thousands of years! So I believe that this topic deserves credit more than mumbo jumbo lol.

The only mumbo jumbo in here is the artificially created recession, so these goverments have us to support whatever solution they offer! or mumbo jumbo is bloody soccer and it's fanboy's rubbish, who cares if chealsey or man. utd wins some bloody ball chasing event all the time, year after year. One of the least important things in life that gets so much attention, it's mad!

and lastly why do you think that this isn't suitable forum, as far as I have noticed there are like all topics on boards, you see the reason I chose here is because of the theme+locality, other spiritual forums are more global based.

when It comes to aliens the odd are in your favor that they do exist (going by the size of the universe) but what also needs to be considered is where on the evolutionary spectrum will this hypothetical life form be, the evolutionary process takes a very long time.
the path that led to us humans was a long one and we only make up a very small ity bity fraction at the end so odds are these aliens will be less evolved.
A Life form that has surpassed us in technology is not impossible only improbable

I also am not a fan of football but that does mean thats its not important, I know many football fans and I see the joy and happiness its brings them, it is not my place for anyone else's to impede on that.
I myself don't really care for meditation all that much but that doesn't shouldn't effect you and what it does for you

Ok, for example here is a ceiling painting from a monastery in Yugoslavia which was painted around 1350, you can see two flying objects chasing one another in the sky that look a lot like our modern space ships/capsules,by the way as you already know first human flying machine wasn't invented until 7 centuries after, please explain...

Here's Puma Punku in bolivia, ruins of an extraordinary site which is dated over 12'000 yrs B.C. , At that time civilization wasn't even supposed have writing, and only have primitive tools ok. Sure, I didn't intend to muck anyone or anything in that sense, but I have also seen a lot of violence and anger and disputes that it creates, I have seen it in pubs people fighting over it in pubs only because they support different teams and believe that their team is better than the other guy's! Let's pick a team for instance I don't know let's say Chelsea, fans support Chelsea, but what is Chelsea, the players that are there weren't there 10 yrs ago and won't be 10 yrs in the future, ok Chelsea is an English team but most of the players are foreign! perhaps the manager stays there for 1 or two decades, so who do they support?! Just the bloody label called Chelsea because it cannot be anything else and if it is please tell and perhaps I might even change my opinion, but until then I think it's pathetic,sorry, I only used Chelsea as an example, there is no bad intention against Chelsea from my side.

All the examples you have given are easy to explain. The images are pure symbolism in art, they depict the sun, moon comets etc. It is always more exciting to try and see something else in these to seek out the unknown the mysterious, to hope for something more, but the reality is that these are no more that paintings full of symbolism.
All these beliefs in ufo's, ghosts, angels, fairies, gods as well as quack medical practices like homeopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture or belief in horoscopes, tarot cards etc........sadden me
People always seem to want to embrace the impossible, the ridiculous and the pure nonsense. We must always strive for the truth. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
I am all for keeping an open mind but not so open that your brain falls out.
The great Carl Sagan once said
“It is far better to know the universe as it really is then to persist in a delusion no matter how comforting it may be!”

I dislike when people look at great feats of human engineering and say oh no that couldn't of been us, thats too advanced for us,
With Puma Punku there is a lot of unknowns but not knowing something doesn't prove something else, saying it was aliens is jumping the gun

Here's Puma Punku in bolivia, ruins of an extraordinary site which is dated over 12'000 yrs B.C. , At that time civilization wasn't even supposed have writing, and only have primitive tools ok. Now this megalithic structure is on top of a mountain and was assembled from mega stones with some as heavy 200 tons, our most powerful crane today can lift about 180-200 tons ok! and these stone are granite so hard that you need diamond to cut them, and whats mind blowing is that all these stones used to interlock together and tiny holes and grooves drilled with laser like precision. Sure, I didn't intend to muck anyone or anything in that sense, but I have also seen a lot of violence and anger and disputes that it creates, I have seen it in pubs people fighting over it in pubs only because they support different teams and believe that their team is better than the other guy's! Let's pick a team for instance I don't know let's say Chelsea, fans support Chelsea, but what is Chelsea, the players that are there weren't there 10 yrs ago and won't be 10 yrs in the future, ok Chelsea is an English team but most of the players are foreign! perhaps the manager stays there for 1 or two decades, so who do they support?! Just the bloody label called Chelsea because it cannot be anything else and if it is please tell and perhaps I might even change my opinion, but until then I think it's pathetic,sorry, I only used Chelsea as an example, there is no bad intention against Chelsea from my side.

Have you ever wondered why, if aliens have been visiting us since at least 12,000 years ago (or whenever), all they've done is just flute around up in the Andes etc... and their only legacy to us was that they inspired some people to draw paintings alluding to them. If they had actually come and wanted us to know about it, we'd all know about it. If they have the technology to undertake intergalactic travel, any structures they built here would surely last for longer than 12,000 years, and wouldn't look suspiciously like something human technology would be capable of constructing...

If they wanted to visit us secretly, they'd have visited us secretly, and we wouldn't know they were ever here - again if they are so advanced as to be travelling across light years of space, they wouldn't find it too hard to hide their presence from us properly. If they didn't visit us secretly, we'd all know about it and there'd be no need for conspiracy theories.

Omg, easy to explain? Symbolism in art? Nevermind what the website says, it is important what you think. Depiction of the Sun and the Moon my god try to enlarge it and have a look at the top right corner, does look like the sun or moon to ya? it's a clear spaceship, if you showed to a 6 yr old kid what a spaceship looks like and this picture he would say yeah look a spaceship,that how apparent it is.

I am actually outraged by this, as it implies that I am some crazy person or a weirdo! Excuse me I am 28 years of age, I have been self efficient since I had left school ok, that strongly indicates that I am sane and capable of taking care of myself and that my values are well balanced, not imbalanced like in a mentally challenged person. English is my 2nd language and have mastered it to fluency! By this I am not trying to promote my intelligence but to prove that it is very unlikely that I am a pink elephant who thinks that is living on Mooncoin!

Why is it that a person with pure intentions wants to open up a thread, for people who share the passion for talking about this topic.
