Insurance for comvicted driver

    A friend of mine had his licence taken 3 years ago for drink driving & has got it back now, the only problem is no insurance company will quote now, can anyone please advise me who might be a good company to go through please!!!:confused::confused::confused:

    Easyquote.ie. They will not give an online quote, but if he calls they will quote over the phone. Friend, aged over 40, no no-claims bonus and just back on the road after a 3yr ban got insured through them fully comp for €1,300.
    He was happy enough with that because after reading through some forums he was expecting to have to pay around €2,000.
