Just saw this on another forum and its the same for boards. The current embed code is this:
<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HRNStwBm5_Y"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>
    <param name="wmode" value="opaque"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HRNStwBm5_Y&quot; type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="340" wmode="opaque"></embed></object>
When the newer method is this:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HRNStwBm5_Y&quot; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This makes it much nicer for people on mobile devices as the object embed method doesn't always work. It also means they can be viewed without flash if needed.

    i could kiss you!

    but i wont. :pac:

that would be brilliant if it could be implemented as it would mean my browser wouldnt crash out every time i went near a thread with an embedded video in it.

i try and avoid those sorts of threads now because even without clicking on them, the page takes ages to load anyway so i know theres an embedded video somewhere in the page, especially common in forums like After Hours!

Thanks for the suggestion but Neil covered this here in early April, feel fee to discuss this issue in that thread though given the problems it causes I can't see it being implemented any time soon.
