X box Region code

    Having an issue with trying to play a dvd i ordered from the states.Wont play the dvd as "the region code is incorrect for this console"

    Anyway of changing the region code on either the dvd or xbox?

    No, because it's region locked. You'd need a region free dvd player or an xbox from the states to play it.

    Supported regions

    Each Xbox 360 console is manufactured for a specific DVD and game region, following international standards. The Xbox 360 console can only play discs that are sold in the same region as the console.

    The console is fully capable of playing dvd's from all regions, it's software lock...nothing else. You will however have to modify the console & thus sacrifice any & all online capabilities. If you use XBL, your better off getting a cheap multi-region dvd player...it's the simplest solution.
