    Looks like a generic tourism poster, they would have been a common feature in railway stations all over Europe at the time. You can see that the name of the country is in English, German and French at the bottom so the same poster could have been used all over Europe.

    I believe the Allgäu is in the Bavarian Alps, famous for its cheese.
